I haven't yet taken my final decision for my fanfiction but I think it will be in between Don Quixote,Robinson Crusoe or King Arthur.I have a bit of a problem because my main option does not follow the generic conventions studied in the class, therefore it requires some extra research.
We will see.

I still think it's a good idea, Rebelde, if you want to do DQ, because it's not like for the fanfic you have to formally analyse. It's justa matter of you showing awareness and some reproduction of the genre features of that type of fiction.
But up to you. Develop the idea(s) a bit more: that might help you decide. :)

I have been thinking that it would be interesting to create a new plot for Tintin. So, I shall probably send this young lad to have some adventures either in New Zealand or in Brazil. I shall decide on the country he is going to very soon.
I think that your idea yasodhara could be very interesting. Because he was going somewhere completely different his adventures could change a lot from what are in the other tintin stories.

Your idea is great. You should definitely go for it.I think it would be great to see Tintin in the middle of the Amazon jungle in search of the sacred plant that provide the cure to a serious ilness affecting the world.How about that? Can you make him visit for a little while the beaches of Rio :)

Yes, it would be nice to send Tintin to enjoy himself at the beautiful beaches in the lovely city of Rio de Janeiro; or perhaps, to be robbed in that crowded, big, busy city. However, I decided to bring Tintin to the peaceful, green, clean New Zealand. Bye the way, he has already arrived here in Auckland.

Thanks for that information Rebelde, I didn't know that there was another pupil writing about Tintin in New Zealand. However, I can assure you that the two plots are going to be different; because the other pupil and I do not think the same way.

After I was informed that there is another pupil writing about Tintin in N.Z., I thought that I should change his destination; and after I read the plot from the other pupil (rather a brilliant one), I decided that I ought to change Tintin's destination. So, I am going to send the lad to Brazil (my home country). And I shall do some writing during the two weeks break.
This sounds very interesting Yasodhara. There many things you can make Tintin do in such a big place as Brazil.
